Rule of Odds

This is catch up week. I've been neglecting my Dogwood's. This is SOOC and for week 41 of the Dogwood 52 week challenge. weeks 38,39, and 40 to follow.

We had a bumper crop of apples here. There was no late frost so all the buds went to fruit, albeit very small. These little babies are about 1 1/2 inches high. I was invited to a 'Please come and pick' apple party. I canned sauce and pie filling from my collecting. I've even seen signs on pear trees in my neighborhood that say "Free please pick"
Beautiful image.
So small. It would be nice to have something to compare the size to.

@jernst1779 Thank you so kindly.
@s4sayer I like that, fruit and nut case- yup that's me. It is a small apple though. It was suggested to let the apples sit in the garage for about a week before canning. I might have waited just a tad too long for this one.
Am very grateful for the fav.
@henrir I am surprised at times what grows around here. The high desert is a unique environment.
