My 1st SLR purchased in August of 1979. I hope to have this baby forever. This weeks pictures of me prompt was 'the 1970's'. I don't own any bell-bottom jeans any longer and most of my other stuff from that decade is packed away. I still work with h'er' now and then with it but it really does need a good and thorough cleaning but, still does an admirable job.
Nice selfie and love your old camera. Great 70's image. That's about the same time I bought my first SLR, a Pentax K1000, which I still use though the light meter is broken.
@shannejw I was looking for ideas in old boxes of stuff and then I remembered the day that I bought this. I was just like a kid in a candy store. Mind you, I didn't know much but I was game for the adventure.
@annied Thank you so much. Its been 40 years since I bought (her) but I just knew that this a great thing to do. It has taken me most of those 40 years to finally get that photography feds my soul.

@tstb13 My sister-in-law just gave me another old Minolta, a T-200, I seem to be collecting the old ones from family. No complaints though.
