Analog Delaware by joysabin

Analog Delaware

Taken in 1997, it is originally a color negative but felt it truly deserved to be B&W. This an old factory in Yorklin Delaware. I believe it has been rehab'd into office space and a brewery.
I love this shot, there's so much in it. The branches are beautiful, the textures in the building are fab and not only is the lighting terrific, love the fork in the road. This place could tell stories.

Great in b&w. I too was looking at it for a bit. Lots there. the lacy tree, the building texture, the choice of paths to take. Lets you make up a story in your mind to go with it.

Much to see and wonder at...particularly with your mono version. Nothing less could do it justice. The house's openings are remarkable. Hope its rehab has been successful and effective.

@fbailey Thank you so very much for the fav. There are a great many buildings that are right next to roads in this area.

@jernst1779 I do miss the trees back east but not the raking. I truly appreciate your thoughtful comment. So truly thankful for the fav.

@s4sayer I wish that I knew when this building was constructed. Many of the older buildings have such character even in decay and it takes them much longer to do so. Thank you so very much for the fav.

@moviegal1 Thank you a great deal.

@amyk When I lived there, I was in love with the older buildings. They were made to stand the test of time.

@golftragic Thank you so very much. Stone and real brick, not the fake stuff the use today, are almost alive in my humble opinion.

@bradsworld The older areas of the US have so many magnificent buildings. I am so very glad that they've continued its life with re-use. Most grateful for the fav, thank you kindly.

@pistache I've heard that B&W evokes where color just tells. I'm not sure if I believe that or not but B&W has always held a special spot in my heart. Thank you so much for the fav.

@hobgoblin Thank you so very kindly, truly appreciate the fav.

@haskar Thank you a great deal.
