Kicking up some dust

On the way to William Finlay Wildlife Refuge I didn't see the turn and ended up taking the less traveled way. I noticed the dust cloud behind me as I drove. I know that I shouldn't have taken this but there was no one else on the this road. In retrospect, I am glad that I took the more adventurous path, less people and more interesting things.
Isn't that always the way? LOL.
Fun and interesting shot.

No need to apologize here- I don't know a single photographer here on 365 who has not taken a shot on a deserted road while driving if the scenery is good! Good shot!

@olivetreeann @marlboromaam @ljmanning We (365's) often get some really cool shots on back roads.

I love Finlay. What birds did you see?

as long as you have a reliable car.

@jgpittenger Hardly any, I need to bring my 300mm next time. I just wanted to explore the area a tiny bit.

@yaorenliu My husband's Subaru to the rescue. My mid-life crisis car, a VW beetle didn't make the trip north. We sold her in Arizona as a convertible isn't a great car for the rainy Pacific Northwest.

@blueberry1222 I liked it but also felt sorry at the same time for the bears in their fenced area.
