Daffodil Field

Visited Daffodil Hill today located in Volcano, CA. There really is a Volcano CA. Population 115. It was actually a gold mining area in 1849. No volcano there that I know about.

So pretty....... I guess the rains we have had have really brought out the beauty in all the flowers. The desert flowers are the best in decades...... Joy, wish you were here to go to the Safari Park with Ron and us -- at least -- on Tuesday. It's their annual Butterfly Exhibit time.

We were in Carlsbad yesterday to have brunch with Ken's office people, and I noticed nothing is happening in the flower fields there yet. The animals will be a sure thing! These are beautiful, Joy!
