The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly

Like what you've done with the processing.

Very nice photo and processing. I hate to be nitpicker, but I only see The Good and The Bad. I don't see The Ugly. It seems to be missing. You need to visit somewhere like San Onofre, where they have three reactors. Then you can truly have The Good, The Bad, AND The Ugly. But a very pretty shot, nonetheless.

Great capture of it all!!

The grungy backdrop does give an appropriately doom laden look to the cooling towers.

I thought those looked familiar! You made them look more interesting! Love your processing and fav.

Really like your processing. The image looks like fabric. Love the deep blues.

@mbrutus Oh yeah I know about San Onofre. I used to live in Orange County. Thanks for your comment Brutus!

Rancho Seco I assume. Probably the most picturesque cooling towers I've ever seen! As for San Onofre, @mbrutus , actually there is no longer a reactor at Unit 1. It's in little pieces in Utah. In factu there is no longer a containment, nor much trace at all of the original So Cal nuclear plant. And soon there will be none at Units 2 and 3 as they've both been shut down. Edison, in concert with Mitsubishi, sealed their own fate with incompetence.

@stray_shooter that’s good to know. I haven’t been by there in a while. Though I had heard that they were shutting down.

@joysfocus @mbrutus Perhaps you both know that Ron @stray_shooter is our 365 expert on nuclear reactor structural integrity (Did I get that right Ron? I asked my House Geek, Ken, for a little help with that one!) All that aside, Joy, that's a fabulous rendering that makes a statement of its own...or at least one the viewer can speculate at! Excellent!
