Originally I had planned to put up a shot of our son crying his eyes out - a real-life sort of expose on what it is like to be a parent since so much of this 365 Project is sunshine, ice cream and rainbows. The truth of the matter is, my wife and I are confused and terrified half the time by what our son is feeling. And today was one of the harder days as his right leg still couldn't support any weight. Then late in the day, after a lot of Reiki from his grammy Mal and a lot of love from everyone, JT stood - albeit without full confidence - on his beleaguered right leg and played, with his mother looking on very closely. I snapped a shot, and I think I trapped the moment. The boy, unawares as he conquered, his mother, unknowingly hinting at a smile as she looked on with an arm always ready to catch him if balance should fail.
