Bath-time's move to mornings has greatly transformed the event from a chore to a celebration. Coaxed into the tub with just the suggestion of playing with his "crayons," The Captain now laughs, splashes and plays while getting clean instead of screaming, kicking and whining. The added bonus - I have taken on the role as the primary bather, and the added responsibility helps me feel like I'm assisting my beleaguered wife with the parenting than I have previously. A win-win-win all around, as is evidenced by this shot.
