So my kid's phenomenal teacher - now living next door to us and caring for our son there while my wife and I are away at our daily toil - bought the kids in her care a fish. And Justin is completely in love with him. She asked, "What should we name him?" and his answer was prompt: "Templeton." That night when my wife picked up The Captain, the Teacher asked, "Who is Templeton?" I can imagine her confusion! But the answer is simple: Templeton is the name of the rat in the "Charlotte's Web" movie and JT loves the scene with the rotten egg and the rat getting covered in stink when the egg cracks open. We didn't know he loved it THAT much, but who knows what really goes on in the mind of a toddler. Although looking at this photo, it's pretty simple to tell that this particular toddler's mind was filled with one thing: love.
