As the project comes to a close, I'm starting to realize that many of these shots will be the last I take of the more simple moments shared between mother and son every day. Sheri and Justin sit in this chair every day together, whether it's in the morning to watch something together as is the case here, or later in the evening when they read and then sing together before he goes to bed.
I hope my assumption is wrong about this, because I would love to have as many simple moments as I do "special times," because - really - life should be lived with every moment feeling special.
