As our trip to Isla Canale wined down, we discovered a small alcove surrounded by rocks that opened to a lovely little and quiet beach. We visited at sunset, finding a group of teenagers who’d anchored their saleboat close to shore so they could frolick for a bit in the water. This whole trip has been filled with wonderful photo opportunities, and this beach visit afforded me several terrific shots of Diego at play in the water with the sailboat looking like one of his toys in the background. As this is a “photo-a-day” endeavor, I am frequently at a loss as to which beautiful shot to choose from, not because I’m a particularly talented photographer - I most certainly know I am not - but because my subject and his surroundings constantly take my breath away. At this same time, I am posting black and white photos on Facebook just about daily, so I at least get to throw some out-takes in that direction. Oh woe is the poor proud dad who has too many fantastic photos of his beautiful son in splendid locations!
