This 365 is quickly becoming a collection of Diego’s greatest passions. Cars, our dog Oso, the bee and water have thus far all been pretty well represented, but I must say the latter is what this summer has been all about. Diego is constantly finding water to play and splash in, whether it’s inside in sinks or bathtubs or outside in his water table, a puddle, a pool or this random spicket in the middle of the athletic fields behind our house. God, he really adores water, but what I find most interesting - and what this shot shows a bit - is how he analyzes what water does as it hits various surfaces. He is entranced by the path of running water, and given that I once created a ten short film DVD collection bound together by a water theme, I think his fascination may be not just shared, but inherited!
