They are at the start. Together. They will always have each other. It’s all I want. It’s the most I have given either of them. Long past me, the houses, the toys, the stories, the money, food, experiences, they will have the love of a brother. And by God, these first steps taken with one another will always make me tear up. It’s Diego taking the lead here. He grabbed his brother’s hand unexpectedly and my world truly fell into such clear, perfect focus. I love these boys so much more than I knew I could love anything or anyone. And I love their love for each other most of all.
