There are many things that are unique about Diego, and his excited reaction to clocks is among the most head-scratching. While I could sort of grasp a child being enthusiastic about analog timepieces, Diego’s transcends the ticking hands and he is just as excited about digital clocks. I have a vague memory of myself as a child finally making the connection between the two types of clocks, an ah-ha moment that probably fell somewhere around five years-old. Somehow, Diego seems to be as smart as I was at five before he even reaches two!
