Diego and his mom await the next cruise to Liberty Island after a long morning during which I mistakenly had us ride the Staten Island Ferry because hey, what’s a visit to New York City without accidentally finding yourself in Jersey? Anyhow, we made it to the Statue of Liberty and while many fine (and not so fine) photos were taken there, I felt this one was most deserving to wrap up our weekend trip. It was a largely sleepless affair, but to see Diego and his brother among the hustle and bustle of one of the busiest cities in the world was well worth losing 38 of my 40 winks. I’ll probably drop in a couple more shots from this trip over the coming weeks; there were too many photo opportunities not to!
Looks like fun! I want to check out NY one day....but first I need a passport. We are about 9-10 hours away driving time. I hope you guys had the best day
