Crowfield Church

This is one of my favourite little churches in Suffolk. All Saints’ Church is set off the Roman road that runs Pettaugh and Coddenham. Apart from a large moated manor house there is no other habitation around.

This is the only timber frame church in Suffolk with a timber frame chancel and porch. The small nave is flint with a steep tiled roof and a small open steeple in the centre of the roof.
