I got up early today as I was lying awake thinking of all the jobs I've got to do this week. Halfway though packing up the rest of the Christmas decorations I realised that there was a thick fog and abandoned the rest in favour of heading out on my bike. It's still lingering - a proper freezing fog so there are now some lovely decorated branches as well. A bit frustrating as yesterday poured down for hours and my photo is pretty rubbish. I have about ten I could use from today - these are the trees on Jesus Green - I waited ages for the requisite pedestrian...
Very nicely done although you stole my lone figure. Interestingly, I laid in bed for ages this morning thinking about all the things that have to be done next week. Got up really late as a result!
Well worth the wait - this is beautiful!
Quite nice getting everything packed up again. I have my 3 boxes waiting to go up to the loft.......I wonder if they will actually get there before the end of January .......Allan manages to walk past them without noticing until I decide the time has come!!!
Two dogs too Judith! Love this portrait style image, the height showing the criss cross of the branches, the long path, the lamps & the chap with the dogs. Loads of atmosphere. We do love a good fog....fog was just coming down on the top of the Helvellyn range this afternoon.
So THIS fabulous pic of hours was on the TT! And it deserved it too!!!! Too bad (as we said on my Eiffel Tower pic) that some "gamers" are ruining it for anyone who deserves to be up there. This pic is fantastic! A hearty and sincere fav!
Just grey and drear here
