I have another photo that shows off the river more in all its glory but I thought I'd throw in another entry for the transport theme. It was a beautiful but very cold day (the river was disappointingly unfrosty) but I couldn't go out until our new utility cupboards had been delivered. It's a tiny room but I can hardly move for boxes.
There seem to be quite a few stress inducing things going on at the moment so now is the time to be thankful for some things - the delivery appears to be complete, Rachel has some excellent feedback on her hard work, somewhere there will be a car wash that can reverse the damage done to my car by the motorway miles Nigel has done this week, I have gin in the cupboard.
His sharp image makes a good contrast with the soft river background. Nice light capture just outlining him and good shadow capture. Hope you have something to mix with that gin!
Time to get that gin out if you are stressed! This is not a stressful photo in the least - looks like an older guy with grey hair going for this ride along the narrow path! Funny shadow!
My jaw literally dropped when I saw this! Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous story shot! The lighting is absolute perfection. I love everything about it. Needless to say... FAV!!!!!
The first time I have seen this shot...I have been slacking obviously! I would have voted for this too.....how on earth would you pick a subject for the next theme....would put me off entering somewhat!
