I spent too much time reading Mary Portas's autobiography 'Shop Girl' on Easter Saturday when I should have been gardening or being useful. She talks quite a lot about cake in the first half so to make amends for sitting around so much I baked one.
Not a bad life is it... I like Mary Portas. I wish I could make a living out of going into people's shops and telling them everything in it is hideous.
Looks like you have a proper cake lining thing from lakeland plastics? I like watching Mary Portas...loved that one about her very own clothes collection in that shop in !ondon.....a few years ago now, then of course there were the lace knickers.......cake looks good!
I spent much of the same day reading on my Kindle. My daughter in law organized and did most of the work on our family's Easter brunch the next day. I didn't have to do much except enjoy. Consequently, I spent much of the day before reading.
