King's College colour is purple.... The attendants who stop tourists getting in without paying etc have their own uniform of sleeveless gown and panama hat for the summer. Another shot from my photo walk with Wendy on Tuesday - Wednesday was spent largely on the motorway taking Rachel to Birmingham for her house move - she has a magnificent view of the university from her new doorstep and I did take a photo but introspect probably should have waited until the bin lorry moved away...
