Not all monsters...

There are reports of giant spiders set to invade houses because of the wet summer. We are used to them in this part of the world and I'm hoping I get a good photos of one because these 12cm beasts have hairs on the hairs on their legs. I will not, however, be picking them up with my bare hands - they bite! This one, on the other hand, I could cope with - repairing her web after a downpour.

Aww, nicely caught! I read that about that too, with the giants. Yuck! These little fellas are all over my garden and spinning webs everywhere. Have to clear a path to walk around in the morning - delightful!
