I wanted to snap the priest as he seemed like a good subject for a Sunday morning but I was still parking my bike at this point and only got chance for one quick shot as he moved away. On the other hand I hadn't even noticed Elvis coming out of the phone box... A beautiful morning with rain tomorrow so I didn't bother watering the garden.
Rachel has been home for the weekend so that's been very nice and in other good news I've ordered a new Hoover! The old Dyson has done very good service for years and years but although it fills up with dust it seems to leave an awful lot on the floors as well - I'm expecting to have to empty the new one twice per clean!
@newbank The one that John Lewis is price matching and therefor £100 off - it's a ball one and apparently doesn't have filters to replace (maybe you wash something instead??) I imagine I could actually suck up a kitten with a new one. Decided the time has come for new - I can get more hairs off the rug by dragging my rubber soled slipper across it than Hoovering...
Love this busy photo....Elvis & the Priest.....great mixture! Love the way Elvis is exiting the red phone box, he looks a very smart Elvis & is holding the door 'just so'! The new hoovers are much lighter thank goodness. We love our G-tech rechargeable.
Interesting haircut that guy has - seems to be the rage - even our All Blacks have got it - shaved round the sides! I'm leaning towards a new vacuum after my tellus which is about 25 years old.
Fabulous capture, New hoover why not Henry or Hetty? I have both Henry has retired to the garden to use in the summer house and for cars while Hetty stays indoors :-)
Great capture! love "Elvis"!!
Jo got one of the ball dysons earlier this year after her older one gave up. Have to say it copes well with the cat hair!! :)
What's not to like about this photo?!! Priest in black regalia....check.....Elvis exiting like he is ready to take flight.....check.... red phone booth.....check! Bicycles parked to the right....check!! Wonderful, candid street scene, and definitely a FAV!!
