The 'Remembrance season' kicked off in Cambridge with a huge cascade of poppies from the tower of Great St Mary's church. We saw it on the news and as I sat there tutting about having missed it Nigel said helpfully, 'That would have made a good photo' and chuckled. So I went in to town especially to catch the after effects and contemplated how much better the cascade would have been,,, Taken on the 24th as I've been hard at work all day.
It sounds a thing not to be missed Judith........darn it! Never mind this is next best thing & a red bike included so all not lost! Just wondering what these poppy petals are made of....is it litter or are biodegradable? I got my enamel poppy out of the drawer today.
