I've been tackling the vermin in the garden shed and had to go out to the rat poison shop so headed back via the Millennium wood in Madingley. Being such a young wood it's a bit boring to be honest but there was extra interest found in the signs indicating that trees have been funded by alumni of the university who live abroad - quite a few cryptic references in them - and the drippy berries. Not really my kind of shot this but it's all I have.
Well we all like it anyway.....can't remember the word for that bloom on those berries.....they use it when talking about grapes for wine I think....I might be talking nonsense! Fave.
I have two Kilner jars at home with sloe gin which will be ready 3 days before Christmas!
