I went to the school carol concert on Thursday (very lovely it was too with some children just soooo cute). It was quite nasty and wet so perversely I parked at the other side of town to the church (not totally mad as actually you can't park close to the church anyway) because I wanted to take the reflected Christmas lights on Rose Crescent (see next shot). I was really pleased to see King's College chapel lit up by Steve Angell's colleagues for the filming of the Nine Lessons and Carols ready for Christmas Eve.
A lovely narrative and a very retro feel to your light shot judith
We went to Kirsty's school concert last week. It is always rather surreal , we used to go to all her school concerts and various nottingham / nottinghamshire ensembles she played in and all her uni' concerts and now she is producing the school concert for her students . Very proud parents :)
Lovely chapel lit up.....must be a wonderful place to live in all year round but specially at Christmas time. Was it this time last year you went up,on the roof with Steve?
@happypat yes it is - wouldn't like to go up there in this weather but last year's photo is on my Christmas card. He hasn't been in touch this year so he must be busy - maybe cameraman-Ing this time - they were still busy working at 8.30pm when I walked past.
