It was about 3 when I got out with Monty this afternoon and then I stopped and chatted to a neighbour who was telling me that she lost one of her dogs before Christmas. Her other elderly dog had a lie down while we chatted and Monty decided he'd like to go back home. Anyway both were compelled to carry on and looking down Oxford Road towards Churchill College rewarded me with this little scene. I was hoping to carry on to the modern science buildings on West Cambridge site as the glass walls would make for good reflections but Monty feigned an injured foot until I turned back round and headed for home...
Monty reminds me of littlest.... The excuses he comes up with are priceless at 3! One morning over Christmas he couldn't return to the bathroom to flush the loo befor climbing into bed for a cuddle as his male anatomy parts would drop off.....
Oh my gosh...that is such a spectacular sky and artistic silhouettes!! A gorgeous sight!!
Happy Anniversary to you and Nigel, Judith! Is it 1/5 or 1/6? A magical time of the year for a wedding.
Monty & his elderly friend certainly called the shots today Judith! Mind you it's not exactly walking weather, dark so early at the moment!
This is a stunning view to turn round & see.....just a beautiful outline against the sky.
@helly31 spaniel - I see most of them desperate to go out - he did the same today so I brought him home and stuck his feet in the bath - can't see anything wrong. Hopefully he'll prefer to walk tomorrow than go in the bath again!
