I don't normally take the phone to bed but with two members of the family in a very different time zone late at night tends to be Whatsapp time. Rafiki, not allowed in Rachel's room because she makes her wheeze, has taken no time at all to move in with us while we dismantle our own room. Nice to have the company.
What a cosy picture, cats are wonderfully wise! Rafiki will be missing the young ones, only oldies left! Our two grandchildren miss their cat so much that Cathy had Willows face printed on cushions for them to take back to uni with them. Hope all settled in again & Rachel is beginning to find her feet!
@newbank@happypat 'This must be the place' by Maggie O'Farrell. I'm enjoying it but then I'm a big Maggie O'Farrell fan! Rachel seems to be v happy at the moment (though not posting enough photos!) She won't be missing the animals as she wheezes though I think having carpets might be worse! Adam is a bit keener!
Ohhhh.... I love maggoie ofarrel too, she's not had one out for a while and I had seen somewhere she had a new one. I'm on Victoria Hislop's latest at the moment...
@newbank@judithg David Baldacci! I noticed you're reading a paper back version Judith. I have noticed lately the price of kindle books has shot past the paperback version & this book is no exception. Disappointing as I am an avid kindle reader. Perhaps I should go back to the library but I do love reading in the night & can read with the light out on my kindle.
