Splendid result, Julie! Did you use yellow paper or did you paint the background?
Which part do you like most: the lines and the roundings or the painting? I guess it;s very relaxing since you are doing it so often.

@monikozi Thanks, Moni! The yellow and red are alcohol markers. The dots are Posca pens, and the black lines are sharpies. The gold is a gel pen. I enjoy the lines and rounding more than painting, for some reason, but it's hard to leave them just black and white. After a day of teaching 19 kindergarteners with no help, this is great therapy for me. Thanks for your interest! :)

Well, the neurographic theory goes that rounding the corners represents resolving conflicts.
Drawing theory goes that repetitive tasks (such as the roundings) quiet down the left (verbose) hemisphere of the brain (the one that tires us with voices and thoughts and critique).
Either way, it is so wonderful that you have found a way to relax and find your quiet.
