Hay Making

Took my camera out into the Hay paddock today but unfortunately missed seeing the bailer doing his job.. get that one next time.. Her is George raking the hay ( or Haylage) up in to rows ready for the bailer to come along and bail it.. It is then wrapped up in plastic to 'cook' and then stored ready for the stock to eat..
A very important part of agriculture that goes on all round the world - at least where there is the equipment. Its interesting to see it in action!

Great pics of farming - lucky it's all baled as it seems the rain might be on the way!

This could be here in the UK except that our wrap is almost always black Julia.
