Cyclone Luci..

On our way home from the weekend in Rotorua and we saw the tail end of Cyclone Lucy hitting a spot in the hills to the east.. In Rotorua we had light rain all weekend but no wind at home South West of Auckland we had strong winds but very little rain.. so not much good for us in draught conditions.. Just loved the look of this image of the angry sky .. the patch of heavy rain and the sun shining through on the maize paddock's giving them a real golden glow.. and even like the leading lines of the power poles and lines..

Well spotted - pity you couldn't have brought that big rain cloud back to our area! I love the long stretch or road leading towards the patch of heavy rain.

Watched the sky moving over Rotorua way. The front going all around us but nothing exceptional as predicted
