Went for a bit of a shop yesterday, and pretty pleased with my purchases, a 18-200mm and a 50mm and a small shoulder bag for small day outings when I don't have to take the whole kit,, love it,, pretty pleased the 18-200 today as went to watch the Grandaughter's playing Netball and pleased with the results..
My word Jules...Father Christmas had been early! How exciting...did you get advice which one to get? I want to buy a new lens for my birthday but was thinking of getting it from Amazon...so much cheaper but the advice you get in a shop is needed if you don't know much. Would follow what others get but my camera is not that common.
@happypat We have a fantastic shop up in Auckland called Progear.. and they are fantastic both with price and advise... I had a fear idea with the 18-200 but the little 50 prime was a complete surprise it is going to take a bit of getting use to.. want to upgrade the body at sometime so going for lenses that would all work with that..
@julzmaioro god idea......lenses are a complete mystery to me! I am looking for a longer zoom lens for my Olympus compact ....I have an idea which to get but must do a little research first.
