Concrete works....

Today Dianne @dide and I had to take a trip 11/2 hours North, to attend the results prizegiving of the Camera Club Shoot Out that we participated in several weeks ago.. We decided to make a day of it and leave very early and go to some different venues to get some shots... We Went to a disused Concrete Works.. This was a operational Cement /lime Works from 1883 - 1928 and is some fantastic structures.. all fenced off so we could not get in amongst it but we did pretty well avoiding the fences.. another draw back we had the 1st rain for 2 weeks today, so had to give up after the splotches started to show.. a place to revisit on a finer day...

And other news of the day... We got 3rd in the shoot out, a fantastic result from our little club..
