Calm waters..

Took 3 of the Grandaughter's on a Dinner Picnic last night, this was our view from the dining table.. The sounds of the birds were ringing in our ears... but so was the sounds of Planes arriving and departing Auckland airport.. (just across the water) .. but then our peace was really shattered when a family decided that it was a good time to race around the Bay in there very noisy boat towing the kids behind on the Sea Biscuits.. Oh well it was good while it lasted...

Oh over there - yes - miles away from Auckland by road but can hear the planes. We had a lovely holiday over there once - lovely white beaches and pohutukawa!
