Clarkes beach.. Pohutukawa by julzmaioro

Clarkes beach.. Pohutukawa

SIL and I went for a bit of a drive today.. and saw some very spectacular Pohutukawa's... which you may have noticed are a favourite of mine.. They are known as the New Zealand Christmas tree.. and they have been flowering really well this year.. liked this one with the beach scene and playground in the background..
Love this shot - such a NZ summer scene and you have made a great job of it. Your composition is terrific - fav

The sights of a Kiwi summer. Somehow there is something retro looking about this photo - the colouring of the playground in the background maybe. Nice.
