Karangahake Waterfall...

Spent a lovely day with Farmer George and @dide and Chook, exploring the beautiful Karangahake Gorge.. The Gorge was a hive of industry back in the day with Gold mining, and the hills surrounding the area have a lot of tunnels, and caves.. we walked the tracks that have came very popular with cyclists.. we came across this beautiful waterfall...

Beautiful place. Have stayed at Ohinemuri wine estate there. Highly recommend it for a weekend escape. No cell phone or tv.

Very nicely done - was a really lovely day out, even if we did go to dinner in our 'tramping' clothes! A very pretty waterfall surrounded by ponga ferns and kahikatea.
