As Farmer George and I were walking along the beach this afternoon, I saw that the light was catching the cliffs nicely.. This area has lots of memories of fun times when I was a teenager and we use to scamper up these cliffs without even thinking about it.. quite happy with a nice walk on the beach these day's with the camera..
What great colours with the red rock and green vegetation. What is the dark colour at the bottom? I can see tyre tracks on it, but it doesn't look like sand.
@beachdog Yes it is sand.. Our coast line in black iron sands and near where we live they mine it and transport it to the near by New Zealand Steal Mill.. It is really fine and gets into every thing, and it is really hot in the summer time..
