This lovely lady is doing her job down at the end of our drive.. We are getting a major job done that us and other locals have been campaigning for, for many years.. We have a very nasty blind corner just a few metre's from our drive, and as you see from this shot it is a narrow country road with no centre line.. about 6 weeks ago there was a fatal accident, which was very upsetting, and after a few phone calls and emails to the powers that be ( the local district council) we got some action and the corner is getting the bank trimmed down so that there is vision from either side.. This lady was very happy in her work, and said how lucky we were to live in such a peaceful place,... even though she was doing a very mundane job she was making the most of it and finding the positives of it.. I said she should bring a chair.,. she said 'No everyone will think I am a lazy bugger'...
Great shot. We had a lorry iverturn on our road 2days ago and the men with the stop/go signs were standing in the rain looking miserable. She looks much happier
