Today I went with @dide to meet her Sister and pick up her Mum.. The meeting point was the little Village of Puhoi .. a quant little Village that consists a Catholic Church, General Store and a Pub and a Library and a Kayaking business.. Further up the road is a Boutique Cheese Factory that is a fantastic place to meet for lunch.. @dide and I did a very short ( though straight up) bush walk and got the view through the tree's from top of the hill of the St's Peter & Paul...
This looks terrific - like a picture postcard to show off Puhoi. Very nicely done - fav. Another great day out and have just had some lovely blue cheese with our dinner! Great place for lunch at the Puhoi Valley Cheese factory.
I had to get the map out of course & check where Puhoi was, I a,ways like to see where you are talking about....I imagine @dude does the same if she likes maps. Will have to google the Bohemiam Settlement now!
Well I googled it & it came up with Puhoi straight away......so now I know all the history of the German immigrants. First they built church.....must be a very special place now to their descendants!
