Waimate North Anglican Church

While driving from Omapere in the North West to Whangarei in in the North East we went past this lovely old church, and I remembered it from my History lessons back in the school day's.. This church was built by Rev Samual Marsdon who settled this area as the 4th Mission station back in 1830 .. and is very well cared for by the present community..
Such a lovely scene!

Beautiful, I love the little churches scattered around the countryside in New Zealand and they always appear so well tended.
