The Strength of Family...

A bit late putting up my photo for today/yesterday as my family gathered together to celebrate the life of a loved Brother-in-law who lost a very short battle with cancer. When we got the news of Noels passing my elder sister and I went to be with our other Sister and have had a very sad week though very rewarding to see how all the family gathers together in times of diversity and together gives each other the strength to carry on.
My Sister and her Husband were just in the throws of planning their retirement and to settle into their new home they have just built, and things can change just over the space of a few weeks.
It is going to be a tough time for her but with the strength of her family she will make new dreams and carry on with what they had planned.
This image is my daughter Donna on the left and Niece Jen on the right .. and example of two very strong ladies and .. Donna along with her Husband run a very successful business and is a great trail/ultra marathon runner and fantastic Mother to two beautiful girls. Jen is Nurse Manager of two Hospitals and has a great responsibility and is very much respected by all in her community.
This building is part of the Dargaville Museum complex where Noels Funeral was held..

A sad time, but it's wonderful that she has a good, strong family to support her. This museum looks so crisp and well kept. I like the stained glass windows.
