So funny - late last night when I was looking at photos, I thought I was on your site @julzmaioro - I couldn't understand how you were saying that it was late in the evening, when the image was taken…. Eventually, I realised that I was on @barb_b site, and that is was one of her images, taken of the same paddock we had spotted!

A beautiful farming scene - the crop cut so accurately and the hay bales making a statement in the lines of cropping. I do like the colour!

@judithdeacon @777margo no I am back home in the north Island now just hope @barb_b is all ok. They don't need anymore shaking about on Chch.

Love the lines bales and colour of this. Fav

@julzmaioro so cool to see your colour version! We're all good - it was a big shake and the house really rattled and rolled but we're in our rebuilt house so it's built to cope with it. Jangled the nerves though!! Nasty reminder!

@barb_b I hadn't been into CHCH until last Tuesday so it really makes us realise what you poor people have gone through.. lets hope there are no more big shakes.. keep safe..

One of the best rolled hay shots I have ever seen.

@julzmaioro We've just been looking at the date and time you took this shot. Last Tuesday morning? If it is we think we passed you. We were heading south and my husband noticed the field and saw a silver/grey 4 wheel drive pulling over and possibly a dark greeny blue hatch. either of those sound familiar??

Excellent lines and bales.

@barb_b No we were in a very dirty blue Toyoto Corolla...Then we made the mistake by going to Waimate for lunch ... won't do that again...

Glad to hear you are all safe. Fabulous shot. Showed it to my husband and it took him right back to his childhood helping out on his uncles farm.

Very nice. The bales seem to have rolled down the hill to where they landed.
