Cicada..

It has been very hot and humid lately and with leaving doors open till after dark we get plenty of bugs inside.. this morning I found the bigger than normal Cicada inside .. so I took a quick shot and then liberated him to outside.. amazing the patterns and colours you see when you take a closer look ..

When I was little we were always catching cicada's and collecting their shells left on the trees! they remind me of camping with my family and listening to their chirpy screachy sounds..
