Bit of a foggy start to the morning but it cleared and the sun shone through... I went for a walk around the farm and the 'Young Girls' had just been moved on to their fresh break of grass.... These girls are Heifers which are two years old and are going to calve for the first time over the next 6 weeks, and then they will join the older girls in the herd.
Today the 1st of June marks the start of the new Season for Dairy Farmers.. and so alot of farmers are on the move today to new jobs or new farms..
