Happy 1st Wedding Anniversary.... by julzmaioro

Happy 1st Wedding Anniversary....

Today @dide and I took a trip up to the big City ( Auckland) to have lunce with her lovely daughter for her birthday.. as we were walking around one of the arcade's we saw this amazing HUGE bunch of flowers.. it would of been at least 1 metre across and stood over a metre tall in this huge cane basket.. The florist was just putting her finnishing touches to it and had to work on it outside of the shop as no room in her shop... And it was from a wife for her husband for their 1st wedding anniversary.... Well Farmer George really needs to up his game... and what on earth will she get for their 40th anniversary .. deliverary alone would be a bit of a mission..
It was certainly an impressive bouquet - probably would've cost as much as an overseas weekend away! Wonder if she got it delivered to his workplace?????

We should have asked - maybe there were 365 roses in the bunch - one for each day of the year!

Wow, some Anniversary gift, especially if flowers in NZ are as expensive as they are here. I wondered about the black ribbons too :)

Well I think it's a wonderful gesture but Harry would not have wanted flowers! I think it must be a new thing these young ones do! A weekend away would be more up our street I think! Stunning arrangement!

Ha! Super bouquet, but my husband would not be impressed. Not at all. Like Wylie I wonder about the black ribbons. Maybe there's another message in there somewhere ... everything is not always as it seems ... @pusspup
