Lego Christmas Tree..

Yesterday while @dide and I were up in the City we checked out the Lego Christmas Tree that is on show there at the moment .. This tree is 10 metres high and has iconic New Zealand things around .. Santa in his surfie shorts and surf board, a Pukeko, kiwis, but also some signs of our Ausie neighbours like the Kookaburra .. ( this tree started life in Australia) .. In the background is the Auckland Town Hall clock tower..

ha ha! How wonderful - we had it in Melbourne last year! i posted a photo of it too - and of course we had Aussie things, but the same surfer :)

@leggzy Can't find out how many pieces in the whole tree but there are 13,195 pieces in the star alone.. the pieces in the main tree are bigger than regular lego but not as big a duplo...
