The garden that we visited the other day had a very smart hen house and the girls were looking very happy... they even had their own fig tree.. though it seems they were not supplied with a ladder as the top ones were looking ready for picking ..
I am sure @happypat would love to see these girls..
I thought ah New Zealand hens! I haven't seen many hens in NZ up,to now. Ant & Jo had a few & Brian & Lesley have two non layers but always expect there to be many houses with a few hens for personal use. They look very nice healthy hens but not doing so well if they aren't picking the figs!
