This shot was taken from my Daughter's terrace last week ... what a great view they have and it looked even better when the late afternoon light was hitting the hills beautifully .. The blue hills are part of the Hunua Ranges and that is where the dams for the bulk of Aucklands water comes from .. and this is the spot that Donna runs most weekend on the bush trails training for her Ultra Marathons that she is very passionate about..
Fave & this is winter too! I love the way the sunlight hits those green fields & hills. All those trees still in leaf, the paler poplar type ones are different!
