Today was a Long Weekend holiday .. ( Labour Day) and it was a bit of a let down as pretty drizzly all day .. but late afternoon the sun came out and was quite warm a I was coming home this evening there was some lovely light .. just had to find a scene ... how could I go past these young girls just waiting for having their photo taken.. in the background are a very majestic stand of the lovely native Kahikatea (NZ White pine) ..
This paddock has a yellow tinge as we have had a very wet winter and the buttercups have thrived...
Just like our girls, they have such sweet faces but we found ours real characters! Where has all this rain come from....farmers are desperate over here. They haven't got enough feed for winter yet, all wet through in the fields still.
@happypat Yes it does make us wonder what is in store for us .. as it has been wet since our Autumn.. Lovely morning this morning though ... sunshine..
@happypat Jersey's are so much easier to photograph... and yes they have got sweet faces .. though they seem to have more of a problem with 'snotty' noses... here any way .. lol
