While visiting @kiwichick last week at Matarangi Lesley took us for a drive around .. this is the local wharf and boat ramp I like the criss-cross of the supports of the wharf and on the end there was a Nana and Poppa with their two grandchildren fishing .. brand new lines and they had caught a bucket full of herring type fish and were pretty chuffed ... Can you see the sleeping Giant in the hill line on the right ..
Wow you notice him straight away! I have never been to Matarangi as far as I'm aware, the highest up the Coromandal I have been is Whitianga. The perfect place for a family fishing day.
