Hibiscus ... Jazzberry Jam...

This is a shot from yesterday of my new Hibiscus.. it is such a rich colour .. I love it and look forward to a shrub being covered with these blooms in the years to come..
Had a very busy day with our Camera Club end of year judging.. Over 200 images have been judged by two very competant judges... Either print or digital images were submitted into 7 catergries, Open, Creative, Landscape, Seascape, Portrait, Photojournalism, and Natural History ... It is an exciting times for our club and we will be looking forward to Our prizegiving next month..

Hisbiscus means summer & this is so evident in this shot. Warm sort of Spanish looking & just made for hot afternoons lazing in the sun surrounded by these flowers!
